PDF Evaluation July + August 2012

In summary one can say:

The inverter module can supply this winter about 30 kWh each day.

Usable are currently approx. 25 kWh (degree of efficiency 0,8).

The average daily consumption in July was with approx. 11 kWh very high. This was due to the usage of machines and electric heating. In the night the values dropped to 8,6 kWh (approx. 80%). To compensate, only 15% of the battery capacity was needed.

With an estimated future consumption rate per living module of 3000 kWh/Year (equivalent to 8,2 kWh/day) and the assumption of an unfavorable consumption time, up to 3 units could be supplied (25/8,2 = 3). In this case, a full day without any solar earnings could still be supplied:

Consumption at night on the first day: 0,8 * 8,2 = 6,6 kW/h
Consumption on the second day: 8,2 kW/h
Results in a storage utilization of 3 * (6,6 + 8,2) / 57,6 = 0,77 < 1,0

Assuming that on poor days at least 50% of the sun´s energy can be used, even 3 days can be bridged by the energy storage:

Consumption at night on the first day: 0,8 * 8,2 = 6,6 kW/h
Consumption on the second day - earnings: 8,2 – 0,5 * 8,2 = 4,1 kW/h
Results in a storage utilization of 3 * (6,6 + 3 * 4,1) / 57,6 = 0,98 ≈ 1,0
